My stupendous husband gave me my birthday (a few weeks early…and Mother’s Day) present yesterday. It is a Digital SLR camera! He got my parents, his parents, my sister, and all my friends to contribute and they gave it to me last night. I am super excited! I have been wanting this camera for years. Now I will have even better pictures to post on here! Yea, Nate! Thank you! (The picture of Natalie and Amy was taken with my new camera!)

[Update] I should preface, the reason that I moved the site a little is that my other site is getting more traffic from non-family, non-church people, I was linked by a friend on his site, so I moved the "home" page in order to avoid having these people navigate there by accident. They are Christians likely, it is a loop of people that have been reading my worship director’s blog and will inevitably link back here, so I am not "worried" about crazy people finding our site.

Have to say that iTunes and the whole realm of podcasting has been revolutionary. I have enjoyed downloading a number of sermons, talks, radio broadcasts, and more in order to listen at my leisure. This is TiVo for my iPod. Thank you, Apple.

Tivo: Simply Amazing
Technology keeps amazing me. That I was in Panera yesterday communicating with work and friends over the web, boggles me. That I can tap into my friends network over the web and print documents to his basement and he can print to mine… simply amazing.
The most recent thing is a little network card in my Tivo box that can share the music and photos that I have on the computer upstairs… wirelessly. I can listen to my iTunes folder from my chair in the living room, without the iPod [not that I would, but I could ;) ]
So much fun, so little time! Tivo rocks.
