We are headed out to PA this spring to visit some dear friends, the Knaaks. They moved away last year to pursue God’s call in ministry at World Harvest Mission centered in Philadelphia. We look forward to some vacation time, just Kara and me to visit with them, stay up too late, eat too many steak sandwiches (is that right, Jennifer? or is it cheese-steak? … gotta sound local!).

Now, for two weeks of laundry all day today, upacking, finding all the pictures and video, putting everything back! :)
The kids have been great this week so far, but they had a ahort night last night, so we’ll see how today goes at Hollywood Studios. Epcot tomorrow since we are supposed to get a lot of rain here.
Here’s what we did today, Tuesday: Monsters Inc. (Natalie and Daddy were a part of the show as a two-headed monster), Buzz Light Year Spin, Tomorrowland Transit, Astro Orbiter, Space Mountain, Indy Speedway, Cinderella’s Lunch with all the Princesses, two parades, (Amy was in Woody’s round up parade), Thunder Mountain, Barnstormer Rollercoaster, Mickey and Minnie’s houses, the Railroad, the Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Swiss Family Treehouse, and Aladdin’s Carpet Ride… whew!
The kids have been troopers and have been so much fun.
We are here at Disney. Completely exhausted from 12 hours at Magic Kingdom yesterday. We had a really great time. Perfect weather and so much fun with the kids. We’ve already been given a couple ideas for souvenirs. Thankfully they are only $10!
Back to being Mr. Mom for the weekend! Kara is headed to the Women’s Retreat in about 18 hours and I’ll be playing Mr. Mom for the weekend. The greatest trick which concerns me is that I am teaching on Sunday 8:45 am and I have to dress, primp and deliver both girls to their classes before I head over to mine. I accept the challenge. I welcome it!

PS, it is -11 degrees here right now. We’ll see how low it will actually get this evening! :) Of course next week we are in the mid-40s again.
We are finally here and enjoying time with the kids. Of course we miss the beautiful views and weather, we will surely go back some time in the future! One last picture for the blog.
We took some kayaks out and hit one of the rivers today leading into Hanalei Bay. It was nice, but not worth the price we paid for the kayak time and the snorkeling (we used our own gear anyway).
We had more rain showers today than other days this week, but that is okay… We look at each other and we look Hawaiian we are so dark. The time in the sun has been fantastic.
Unbelievable beauty. We are back from our Na Pali Coast Sunset Boat Tour from 2-7 pm today. We both highly recommend it for anyone coming to Kauai.
I took so many pictures, we will have a lot to sort through and delete when we get back home.
Kara did great. She said she did not feel sick at all! We were so thankful, after much prayer and many drugs!
After the ATV tour we went to southside Poipu Beach (yes, you read that correctly)…this is who crawled up on the beach to sun himself…
