Beckham
After his first goal as an LA Galaxy player, Beckham told the AP: "I felt I was going to score as soon as I had the ball in my hands."

MSN and Dating
People continue to surprise me with how dumb they are… look at these "new" ways to ask people out: MSN Dating
Now is not only okay to live into adolescence until you are 28, you can also ask people out on a date (when you’re 30) using a napkin and the famous check boxes "yes" and "no". You can also ask your friend to ask her out for you, because most women want a spineless, timid man to ask them out for a date, and perhaps be the man who will try to care for her by having a job, paying bills, doing laundry, feeding the children. hmmm.

Kirby
I heard about Kirby Puckett’s stroke yesterday. I was sad to get on line this morning and see that he had passed away. I clearly remember watching Kirby play when I was in MN and watching him on TV a lot when I moved to IA. Kirby was a great ball player. He was kind, compassionate, not a thug like so many professional athletes. People Kirby and the Cubs are the saving graces of MLB. Some of these players now could learn something from him. Article.
