It has been a LONG 6 months for us with Nate studying for Licensure and Ordination. Well, it is finally over. Yesterday and today, Nate had his oral ordination exams and passed! We are so excited and I am so proud of him. He will officially be installed/ordained at a service at our church on Nov. 1. This also officially starts his role at NPC as Associate Pastor. Next step…BABY #3.

It was my birthday yesterday, July 10. It was a wonderful day with my family, I am so thankful for Kara and the girls, they were very sweet.
I got some really neat things like iTunes cards, "Planet Earth" DVD, "One" by Bono, the ever-awesome, 6-D cell Maglite (I am an addict and collector)… and more. For dinner, Kara and I both had 16-oz ribeyes, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, strawberries and ice cream at Oberwies. It was a good day. I am very blessed.
