We are headed out to PA this spring to visit some dear friends, the Knaaks. They moved away last year to pursue God’s call in ministry at World Harvest Mission centered in Philadelphia. We look forward to some vacation time, just Kara and me to visit with them, stay up too late, eat too many steak sandwiches (is that right, Jennifer? or is it cheese-steak? … gotta sound local!).

It has been busy around here lately. Besides the travel, then being sick, then picking up all the stuff that we were supposed to do those three weeks, but didn’t, we are finally starting to catch up. Taxes are done and back, we gotten through swim season, some other classes have passed as well, so we are able to spend some more time together as a family.
However, we are also picking up our entertaining. We have been hosting families for dinner at a rate of 1-2 per week, sometimes more if need be, and that bites into our home life. We are able to do this as a family, so that is nice, but we have people in our home a lot it seems. That’s good. We need to welcome others into our home, to know them, to let them know us, and for us all to talk and pray for one another, for our children.
It has been busy for sure. I need to get back into the habit of blogging and keeping current so that our friends can hear about what is happening in our lives.
